Product Warranty Coverage

All Sunstone and Star BBQ warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable. All warranties are strictly conditioned upon proper installation and usage per the official Sunstone Product Manual and Installation Guide. Damage from misuse, improper installation, commercial use, or failure to follow product manuals voids all warranty coverage.

Critical Installation Requirement

All warranties are strictly conditioned upon proper installation and usage. Every product must be installed exactly in accordance with the detailed instructions in the official Sunstone Product Manual and Installation Guide specific to that model. All warranties are VOID if installation and/or usage is not performed strictly in accordance with the product manual.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

✕Surface corrosion, rust, discoloration, scratches, or cosmetic changes
✕Normal wear and tear
✕Damage from high cooking temperatures, excessive humidity, chlorine, salt air, or weather exposure
✕Misuse, abuse, alteration, tampering, accident, or neglect
✕Improper or non-compliant installation
✕Commercial, rental, or multi-family use
✕Service or repairs by unauthorized persons or use of unauthorized parts
✕Shipping, handling, export duties, installation, or reinstallation costs
✕Incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or contingent damages
✕Damage from accidents, grease fires, flashback fires, severe weather, or Acts of God
✕Paint loss, surface rust, or stainless steel discoloration considered normal wear and tear
✕Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or third-party online marketplaces

Authorized Sellers Only: Only purchases from authorized Sunstone dealers or distributors qualify for this factory-backed warranty. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, third-party online marketplaces (except authorized ones), "B-stock," open-box, refurbished, or used items carry no warranty. Contact Sunstone US directly to verify authorized sellers.

Before You Submit

  • • All warranties are strictly conditioned upon proper installation per the official Sunstone Product Manual and Installation Guide.
  • • Grill & Burner Series: Firebox & frames — Limited Lifetime; cooking grates — 5 years; burners — 3 years; valves, knobs, electrical — 3 years.
  • • Cabinet Islands: Cabinetry — Limited Lifetime; handles, legs, trim — 5 years.
  • • All parts & accessories across all product lines are limited to one-time replacement only.
  • • Only purchases from authorized Sunstone dealers or distributors qualify for warranty coverage. Products from unauthorized sellers carry no warranty.
